Dear Sir/Madam,
1)Which amount should be shown as income from salary gross income or income excluding deductions U/S 10&16
2)Where should we show deduction on loan amount on housing loan interest in ITR1 or I'll have to choose other format of return for showing this deduction.

AFTER DEDUTION OF U/S 10 SALALRY WILL SHOW AND INTT ON HOUSING LOAN WILL SHOW IN INCOME FORM HOUSE PROPERTY, YOU FILE ITR-1 OR ITR-2

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your reply, but showing interest paid on loan for house property in income colomn will show increased income and hence increase my tax.
I've to get tax deduction on that amount to save tax.
