29 August 2011 i m attanding a ca's office in chandigarh
from last 3 days...!!!
i come to knw dat he has every type of work
but the main source of their income is form making AIR nd as TAN FACILATE CENTER.
the articles spend most of their time on these two works.
all 5 out of 7 articles are girls.
whether to join articlship their or not??
plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(it is a medium size firm)

Articleship is the foundation for any student. The strength of building lies in its foundation, the stronger the foundation, the stronger and taller the building can be. In the like way, articleship is the foundation upon which the rest of the career of a student is dependent. Hence, articleship should be from such a firm where the technical skill in all areas gets a chance to explore. Expertise is an area which can very well be achieved even after becoming chartered accountant. Hence, articleship should be from a firm where you can get a good exposure of all the areas related to the chartered accountancy course.
Hence, my suggestion would be to join a medium sized firm to get exposure of all the related areas.
