13 August 2013 One person assumed that his income going to be less than INR 10 Lac in FY 13-14 so can he surrender service tax no.

13 August 2013 Yes after filing the returns for the past years.
Further if his gross value of services isnot likely to exceed 10 lakhs.

15 August 2013 One more thing if value of taxable service was more than 10 lakh in F.Y. 2012-13 he has to continue with registration and payment of service tax even if value of taxable service going to be less then 10 lakh in current F.Y.
