15 July 2017 I have registered on 19-2-2015 for Articleship, then i took transfer on 18-8-2015 and re-registered on 2-11-2015. i just want to know about my ca final attempt due i.e. NOV. 2017 or MAY 2018 ?

03 August 2025 Okay, let's break it down:

You started articleship on 19-Feb-2015.

You took transfer on 18-Aug-2015.

Re-registered on 2-Nov-2015 (transfer delays don’t affect total duration as long as articleship is continuous).

Articleship duration = 3 years (36 months) from the original start date.

So your 3 years completion date is:

19-Feb-2015 + 3 years = 18-Feb-2018.

You become eligible to appear in CA Final exams after completing 3 years of articleship.

So, for your exam attempt:
Nov 2017 attempt → You won’t be eligible as you won’t complete 3 years by then.

May 2018 attempt → You will be eligible as you would have completed 3 years by then.

Conclusion:
Your first eligible CA Final attempt is May 2018.
