07 October 2010 why we deduct service tax only transporter in uttarakhand. plz tell me in which condition we deduct tds & which we deduct service tax.what is the difference between both of these service.

07 October 2010 As per the service tax act, the service receiver need to pay service tax on GT service

As per income tax act, the payer need to deduct the TDS on payment to payee
