Following a person's death, there isn't a specific income tax rate for an 'Estate PAN Holder'. Income generated by the estate, such as rental income, is taxed at the normal slab rates. The individual receiving the income, typically the legal heir or representative, is liable for paying this tax. Once the estate is distributed, the income is then usually added to the legal heir's or representative's own PAN.

There is no separate rate for estate holders of a deceased person. After the distribution of the estate, the income from the estate is included in legal heirs/ representative's PAN.
Thanks for your reply. If earned the income on Property i.e. Rent Income then before distribution of estate who is liable to pay income tax? Normal slab are applicable in tax calculation?
