what is difference between av ailment and utilization of cenvat credit

Availment is just taking the credit in to books based on the bills. Utilising is the using that credit against the payment of the service tax. you should avail the credit and then you can utilise the same for payment

It is utilised at the time of making payment of excise duty or service tax.
