I wana ask what is Billing Manager,wht type of job prfile is this? and how should i prepare for the interview?

This position is responsible for leading and planning the billing operations for a 15 person department. The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes across multiple markets. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department.

Billing managers have oversight in the given billing department. The main aspect of a billing manager's duties is to supervise work of billing clerks within the department. A range of subsequent duties follow behind this main aspect. Billing managers benefit from holding a bachelor's degree in accounting or completing coursework in finances.

Management duties include managing the billing process to minimize billing errors and bad debt. Billing managers musts review all bills for accuracy and make corrections as they apply. This includes performing adjustments and edits as needed. They manage timely request, approval, processing and disbursement of legitimate refunds. Billing managers manage the month end close-out by bringing systems up-to-date with proper figures and other relevant information.
