05 October 2013 What is the due date for depositing Wealth Tax for the F.Y. 12-13?

The due dates for filing of Wealth Tax return are the same as the due dates for filing of Income Tax return (i.e. if the assessee is liable to audit, the due date will be 30th September and in other cases the due date will be 31st July.

05 October 2013 You would be penalized with 1% interest rate per month for every month delay in payment.

In case you do not file return, the penalty could be 100% to 500% of wealth tax payable with interest.
