What is the conditions to charge Work Contract Tax (W.C.T.)?
If Company is liable to pay Service Tax @ 2 % under 'The Works Contract (Composition Scheme for payment of Service Tax) Rules, 2007'

WCT (Works Contract Tax), which is a part of VAT is chargeable on transfer of property of goods in execution of works contract as a deemed sales.
Service tax is applicable on the service provided in works contract.
Dealers are liable in both the act.
