23 February 2014 can I deduct wct on value that includes service tax amount in invoice from contractors.

25 February 2014 Although the component of service tax is not liable to any VAT, hence the WCT not to be deducted on the value of service tax. But for the sake of ease and convenience during assessment, it is advisable to deduct wct on the total amount paid.
