Verification date

01 August 2014 I prepared my return and I mentioned the verification date as 25th July 2014. I did modification by providing tax payment details(self assessment tax on 28th July) in the return after that and then efiled it on 31st July without changing verification date . Would the Verification date next to name and signature cause an issue if its earlier date?

01 August 2014 well as such the ITR utility itself doesn't permit challan date to be after tax challan date. Nevertheless, it should not create any problem

01 August 2014 It will not be an issued. Please check ITRV it will bear only the date of uploading of return.

02 August 2014 you can send the return after deposit self assessment tax. with previous file return.

02 August 2014 The ITR V which I received shows verification date as 25th July and Efiling date as 31st July.
I had paid self assessment tax on 28th July and made an entry of that tax in the returns before efiling it.
So in that sense would the verification date be an issue if its earlier than the date of the last changes made in the return/selfasses tax date ?
