07 February 2010 A concern is transfering Methanol to its Sister concern with in Punjab which is used for manufacturing of urea as input .Urea being exempted from VAT. It may please be clarified whether VAT is chargeable on transfer of Methanol?.

09 February 2010 Kamal Sir , we are transfering methanol through tankers by road from Nangal(Punjab) to Bhatinda (Punjab), both are units of a Company.
