Pl tell me vat liable on machinery rent & which rate

VAT is not applicable on machinery rent.

VAT is applicable on Renting out of immovable property including machinery. The applicable rate of VAT in the state for that good is the rate to be applied on machinery let out.

VAT is not applicable on Immovable property in MVAT ACT.Transfer of right to use any goods for any purpose is covered under definition of sale under VAT act (Mah). If the possession of machinary is given with rights to use then VAT wil attract but not on immovable property(being not goods.
