We are purchase a scrap from export industries and selling to the engineering companies in that we are not paying or collecting VAT please clarify this. either in this scrap is under VAT or any exempted goods.

scrap being goods liable for vat if there is any specific provision for exempting vat on scrap not liable otherwise liable to pay tax at the rates prescribed under the local VAT in case of sale is within the state
