Generally, All input tax credit is allowed for set off against sales output tax. Only when dispute arises, case laws are available. Tell me in details of your case.

sorry for the inconvinience.
I was talking about Delhi VAT Act,wherein sales made by one party "A" has been set off against the purchases from another party "B" of the same product ,say "X".
That is, Product X was sold to B by A earlier and in consideration purchases were made By A from B of the same product X.
can the input be taken if the sales are been set off against the purchases? if yes please refer the case laws.
