15 December 2008 Now i am valuing pvt ltd company's equity shares which is mfging alluminium ingots for auto anciliary unit. for this purpose i required comparable co's required rate of return which is depend on risk factor, name of listed co's with whom i will compare this unit, methods of valuation in details & also any other recommendation on the above matter.

15 December 2008 The most commonly adopted methods for valuation of shares are as follows: Net Asset Value Method Earnings Capitalisation Method Yield Method Market Price Method Discounted Cash Flow Method However, each method proceeds on different fundamental assumptions, which have greater or lesser relevance, and at times even no relevance to a given situation. Thus, the methods to be adopted for your case will depend upon the facts of the case.
