30 July 2015 while filing income tax return, global income is taxable. I have recd US salary for 3 mnths and filed income tax return there. they have deducted Federal income tax, State income tax, Social security tax and Medicare tax. while claiming relief u/s 90 what all taxes shall i consider?

30 July 2015 Federal Income tax is considered unless specifically stated in US DTAA.

incometaxindia.gov.in gives various DTAA (Double taxation avoidance agreement). You may go through the same.

and one more thing i want to confirm is Relief under what section?

India-US DTAA covers only federal taxes. section 90 shall be relevant in this case.

please follow the link for DTAA with USA and go to TAXES COVERED in article 2.

section 90 as quoted by you is the one where you can claim the relief.
