Urgent: criterias for ST registration

03 October 2010 I have planned to start a new company in Guwahati.My question is how shall i deal with the ST obligations???plz provide me the basic knowledge.How shall I proceed with??

04 October 2010 registration is required as per following
1) if avaling ssp exemption
30 days from rendering services worth of rs 9 laks
2) if not avaling ssp exemption
30 days from date of commensment of business or date of service becoming taxable which ever is later
