23 February 2014 Is it Compulsory to file itr 4 even i have no business or profession income..
earlier i used to file itr 2, but since now i dont have business or Profession Income, i want to file ITR 2
If i Do i am getting an error while uploading return that there is no Business or Profesion Income and it is invalid.

23 February 2014 if there is no business/profession income, there is no need to use ITR4. You can use ITR1/ITR2 depending on other sources of income. However, if there is any loss that you are carrying forward, you should continue with ITR 4..
