Dear sirs,
i have got a error notice u/s 139(9) for required P&L a/c ; Balance sheet update with in 15days of issued notice. I have verified ITR of e filling site u/s 139(9) notice option under e-filling.
actually notice generated on 21.10.2016 but mailed on 01.11.2016 so how will do, in how many days i have to rectify.
PLS give me a suggestions what to do, what not to do and in how many days to whom.by onlne.

In case return is considered defective u/s 139(9), Income tax shall intimate the defects to the tax payer and give him the opportunity to rectify the defects with in 15 days from the date of such intimation. However he can also extend the time period on an application made by the assessee.
