Please clarify the following

in case the trust is not having registered u/s 12a can we file the audit report u/s 10b
and can we show the application of income for that purpose

that trust is having Rs.8,00,000 turnover

03 August 2013 Yes audit report is required..

audit report is mandatory if voluntary contributions exceeds basic exemption list

So in your case it is 8 lakhs so you need to get audit report under 10b and due date is 30 september

03 August 2013 Audit report in form 10B is not required if turst is not registered with income tax department.
Application of income u/s 11 can't be claimed for want of the above said registration.

But the trust is required to get its accounts audited if its total income before exemption u/s 11 exceeds basic exemption limit then what is the audit report format,since, form 10b is not applicable
