10 January 2011 Is there necessary to show the transporter name in TDS return even if total amount paid by us to him doesnot exceeds Rs 30000 in a single payment or Rs 75000 in total payment during the year 2010-11 in transporting transaction ?

11 January 2011 You need to quote PAN No. and name of the deductee in TDS return if the withholding tax has been deducted.
