Hi,
Can somebody tell me that in case of purchase of a business, if the purchase wants to continue with the sale tax number of the business purchased. Then what type of formalities need to be done.
Please tell me that what supporting need to be furnished in this case

Hi,
In case of purchase of a business, you have to apply for new place of business/additional place of business (VAT form available with sales tax office) as a branch or godown or office in your present TIN number only. The other party has to cancel their TIN number as they are closing the business.
You need to provide the sale deed of that particular business, MOU, AOA along with original VAT TIN Certificate which is to be included as additional place of business.
