19 July 2011 Dear Sir,

Can you give me exact percentage with example for custom duty on HS Code 14011000 on CIF base.

"Basic customs duty is being reduced from 30% to 10% on Bamboo for use in the manufacture of agarbatti (S. No. 28A of Notification No.21/2002-Cus dated 1st March, 2002, as amended by Notification No. 21 /2011-Cus dated the 1st March 2011 refers)"

19 July 2011 yes as per cbec Notification No.21/2011 dtd. 01.03.2011 the duty on above said item is reduced.

for calculation exact duty link is:-

it is assumed that cif value is in INR 1,00,000.00

DUTY WILL BE 14545/-

Thanks for your urgent reply, But as per your link it show 30+4 per. custom duty, so i am very confuse. sir are you sure duty will be 14545/- for INR 1,00,000.

19 July 2011 please mentioned 10% duty instead of 30%

sad is also applicable hence duty will be rs. as above mentioned on cif value 100000
