I a practicising chartered accountant. 4 years back, a person enrolled as article trainee under me. He didnt respond any time after registration. I want to intimate this to the institute. How am I supposed to intimate. & what are the procedures to do the same?

Form 108/109 needs signing by the article also. Better you simply inform the article-section on your letterhead.
