Termination of articleship

02 January 2014 Sir,
One of my Friends want to terminate her article ship. But she served for more than a year. Now she wants to leave for one year due to some reasons and want to continue after such period. IF she continue her Articles after one year is she get a claim of one year completed period as articles period?

02 January 2014 well termination can be done only under the grounds covered under 56(2) and for no other reason. if you continue under the same CA and dont attend office for an year, that period shall be considered as leave and you shall still be required to serve the remaining period under the same CA unless any other ground for termination can be provided! In such a scenario credit for year served shall be available.
