11 April 2009 will TDS u/s 194c attract when business transction are made for which payment is made between the companies with same managment,same directors with same holding of shares???
can answer be changed if one company is holding the shares of other sister group company having same management???

12 April 2009 Each Company is seperate legal entity with a seperate PAN No. Therefore it doesnot matter whether companies are under same management or under holding subsidiary relationship. TDS has to be deducted u/s 194C.

12 April 2009 Management & Directors are immaterial,Once a company deals as an entity to other company.These are transactions /Contracts to be goverend by TAX.All sections are applicable not only 94C.
