13 May 2014 On filling the banking industries TDS return the detail of from 15G/15H transaction ,ie Interest cerdited but no TDS deducted , is nessery

13 May 2014 i just want to ask that , if bank paid tax on fdr but no TDS deduct from customer because customer submit for 15G/15H. now on filling bank tds return the detail regarding this type of interest is to be mention in tds return or not ?

13 May 2014 y bank will PAY TDS on fds? Bank will deduct TDS on FDs. And if a person deposits Form 15H or 15G then bank will not deduct TDS. If bank deduct TDS after submission of the above form(s) then ask the Bank manager about that.

13 May 2014 sir, i want to know that in bank tds return(from 26Q) the detail of interest on which no TDS deduct , is required or not ?

14 May 2014 no detail required in return but 15G/H form to be deposited with commissioner of income with in 7 days after the end of month in which recd. by bank.
