Is there any provision of tds on vat....

TDS on VAT is normally used for WCT, Works contract tax..which means to deduct TDS cause he has not deposited VAT on the material portion, which he used for providing service. Or in other term if you are asking TDS on VAT...in simple income tax setions 194c or others then yes it is applicable TDS have to deduct on gross bill including VAT/SER TAx
