Dear All
What will be the tax implications(Both tds & Service tax) if the taxi is hired for official visits by a chartered accountant. there is no contract between the taxi services and the chartered firm and the amount exceeds the 194C limit very easily. the service provider i.e. the taxi services is not a company. its an individual.
A quick reply would be highly appreciated.

on reverse charge by individual service receiver to be paid
and
TDS to be deducted @ 1% on amount paid by you
and
TDS to be deducted @ 1% on amount paid by you

1)Reverse charge will not applicable to you unless your CA firm is registered as LLP..
[Please note Reverse charge in renting or hire of Motor vehicle designed to carry passengers is applicable only if service receiver is Business entity registered as body corporate.]
2)TDS CAN BE DEDUCTED.
