When we pay charges for holding goods in Cold storage:
TDS to be recovered under section 194C or 194I?
Please suggest applicable laws/rules also.

TDS will be deducted u/s 194C as cold storage owners provide a composite service.

Which section is applicable if we store goods in Godowns(not cold storages)? (Ex. goods stored in CWC/SWC)

Then you will be paying Godown Rent and Section 194I will be applicable.

1) Payment to cold storage is covered under section 194C vide CBDT Circular no. 1 dated 10/01/2008.
2) Warehousing charges is covered under section 194I vide CBDT Circular no. 718 (question no.3) dated 22/08/1995.
