we get visiting card / greeting card / packing materials printed and single bill is issued by supplier for material and printing cost after adding sales tax / vat.
if guide if tds u/s. 194-C is required to be deducted on these. Someone told me that tds is not to be deducted as vat is paid

You are receiving a VAT invoice, it indicates that you are purchasing the printed stationery from the printer. On goods purchases transactions TDS is not required to be deducted.
