Tds on internet services provided on contractual basis

Can anyone please tell me under which section the TDS should be deducted for the internet Services provided on contractual basis..?? I want to know whether it's under Section 194 C or 194 J???

If there is any specific contract TDS to be deducted u/s 194C.

Sir my client have deducted TDS @10% under section 194 J for the internet services provided on contractual basis and have filed returns too.. so what are the steps to rectify it??

Just get the TDS certificate and take the credit of TDS deducted at the time of filing income tax return.

There is no Need to Deduct TDS for Interent under Any Sec. It has also been held in the case of Skycell Communications Ltd. v. Deputy CIT[2001] 251 ITR 53 (Mad.).
Since there is a specific contract Section 194C is being attracted. But section 194J can not be applied. So the deductee is wrong in deducting TDS @10% u/s 194J. Best way out is to atke credit of TDS so deducted at the time of filing of return.
