Tds on directors remuneration

14 January 2013 TDS is deducted on remuneration paid to directors us. 194J, but it should have been deducted us. 192. Since already the TDS Returns are filed, how to show the same in Income Tax returns and should TDS Returns be amended?

14 January 2013 It is not always true that TDS on director's remuneration has to be deducted U/s 194J only.
.
In case the remuneration is in the nature of salary and TDS U/s 192 has already been deducted, then there is no need to disturb the TDS data already punched and filed.
.
As you are showing under the head of Remuneration to Directors or Salary to Directors, show accordingly.

But my query is that it has already been deducted us. 194J instead of deducting us. 192. So what should be done to rectify the mistake?
