PLEASE HELP ME
I JUST FILLED TDS RETURN 26Q FOR QUATER ENDED MARCH.
NOW I JUST SEE THAT SOME ENTRIES IS MISSING FOR WHICH PAYMENT HAS NOT BEEN MADE
ALSO I HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENT IN RESPECT OF SUCH ENTRIES.
NOW I HAVE TO REVISE RETURN.
CAN I LIABLE TO PAY FEES U/S 234E from the due date to revised return date?
BY ENTERING SEPARATE CHALLAN AND ENTERIES?

BY ENTERING SEPARATE CHALLAN AND ENTERIES?

Sec.234E will apply for the delay in filing original return, for revised/correction return no due dates hence sec.234E fees wont apply. however interest on missing TDS entries will apply

Yes. you can add the challan and revise the return, sec,.234E will not apply for revised returns

the entity where i worked had pending demand since 2007-08, which is not rectified yet.
the demand is for consecutive years till 2014-15.

is 234e levied on same also or only intrest?

Incase demand based on error in return, then approach your ITO to rectify the same. if demand is correct then pay and close the issue.
