Tds deduction and form 16 issue

Sirs, some of our employees are drawing monthly salary around 25000/- but we have not deducted any TDS throught the year. Now they are asking for Form-16. Kindly let me know what to do plese

if u hadnt deducted tds why u will provide form 16, say them that u hadnt deducted any tds so no form 16 will be issued to them

Thank you for reply. Even if we hadnt deduct TDS, they have to file IT returns and as a proof of income they are asking this. Now what is the way to issue Form-16 sir.

If you have not deducted TDS/not filled TDS return though TDS is not deductible, you can not generate form 16 from Traces. you may give them manual form 16 just for their reference (as manual form 16 has no legal validity)
