One of my friend has collected his Form 16 from his employer,after cross verification with 26AS he found out some differences in the Tds deduction and deposited in his account.
Could any one of u tell me how can he rectify the differences.
How can he get back his total tds.

hE SHOULD CHECK THE DETAILS WITH HIS EMPLOYER AS HE (THE EMPLOYER ) ONLY CAN PROVIDE THE CLARIFICATION OR CAN DO REQUIRED RECTIFICATION IN E-TDS RETURN.

but as he is an employee how can he do rectification in e-tds return..he can only file IT return and input the details as per Form 16 or 26AS but how can he file e-tds return...please clarify me

ask to employer.
usually Form 16 is generating on the detail of TDS return. in return employer gives detail of your salary and TDS. Which is shown in 26AS.
if there is difference between Form 16 and 26AS. Show it to employer. then employer can revise the return.
Don't file return before this, otherwise you will get notice as deptt will check your return with 26AS detail.
