Hey! About your query on forgetting to mention TDS in your income tax return for AY 2007-08 — here’s what you can do:
1. **If you’ve already filed the return and it’s been accepted:** Since this is from a long time ago (AY 2007-08), normally the window for revising returns (which is 1 year from the end of the relevant assessment year) is closed. So you *cannot* file a revised return now.
2. **What if you forgot TDS credits?** The Income Tax Department reconciles your TDS details through Form 26AS. If TDS was deducted but not claimed, the department might send you a *notice* for tax demand or adjustment.
3. **What should you do?**
* Check your Form 26AS for the respective year and confirm TDS details. * If a demand notice comes, respond accordingly and show the TDS credit. * If no demand notice is received, then you don’t need to worry.
4. **Future precaution:** Always cross-check Form 26AS before filing returns to ensure all TDS credits are captured.

Unfortunately, there's no direct remedy to claim that old TDS now unless the department raises a demand or you file a rectification petition if the time limits permit (which here they don’t). If you get any notices, respond timely showing proof of TDS.
