Tds challan adjustment

17 April 2014 I have erroneously paid tax under 94J instead of 94I. After filing TDS return, I have obtained a notice for short deduction.

Is it possible to change the code on the payment challan or any mechanism by which the matter can be rectified in the TDS return.

Please advice.
