an employee who receive salary of Rs. 12 lacs and give a premises to the co. on rent of Rs. 1 lac.so whether t.d.s is applicable on rent amt of rs. 1 lac or exempt u/s 194I.?

no tds applicabl till rent is less than Rs 1.8 lakhs per annum.
