26 November 2011 Q. suppose I am an employee of the company i show my employer that i am eligible for 80C deduction and my employer did not deduct TDS than is it mandatory for my employer to give details of mine in tds return filed by him...

26 November 2011 You have to give certificate to your employer about your personal savings which are eligible for deduction under 80C with the amount approx or exact if available the employer based on your certificate he discloses in TDS return. If the employer doesn't keep the certificate given by you or not shows evidence then he is liable to punishment for non deduction of TDS.
