what are TDS certificates ?

Tds certificates is a certificate which certifies that your debtors has deducted your tds (advance income tax) ath the time of payment. 26as is a statement having income tax department that your debtors who deducted your tds deposited to income tax department. Sometime party makes a mistake in reporting correct pan no, in their tds return and they don't deposit tds after deducting,
If your tds certificate and your 26as doesn't match then above mistakes would be at the part of your debtor.
