Service Tax Calculated on Accrual or cash Basis?

TDS also credit or payment which ever is earlier

But i have one more query
regarding Service Tax for the F.Y 2011-12 i will calculate on accrual Basis but for Preceding F.Y for which i have receive/payment in current year what should i do for that?????
