Is it necessary to be Bill dated 31st march to avail the extended tds deposit date of 31st may in respect of 31st march provisioning?

NO. YOU CAN PAY IT BEFORE 31ST MAY IF YOU WISH. THE EXTENDED PERIOD HAS BEEN GIVEN TO MAKE TDS ON PROVISION AND BILL FOR MARCH RECEIVED IN APRIL.

In order to remit TDS by 31st May, it is not necessary that Bill should be dated 31st Mar. But Payer has to make sure that CHEQUE for net amount payable is dated AFTER 31st Mar. If date of Cheque is either 31st Mar or a date prior to that, TDS remittance has to be obviouslymade by 7th Apr
