14 April 2020 What is interest applicable if TDS of March 2020 for payment to employee other than government employee TDS 92B if such TDS is remitted after 8/4/2020 & within 30/4/2020 ???

14 April 2020 Sir thank you si much for replying my query. One more clarification Sir. Quarterly TDS statement filing due date for 4th Quarter 26Q & 24Q actually 31st May for every year. But this year it is extended to 30th June or 31st May Sir? Please clarify

15 April 2020 It is extended to 30.06.2020 vide ordinance dt. 31.03.2020.

15 April 2020 No interest is to be paid because the due date for payment of March 2020 tds is 30.04.2020. Thereafter is paid upto 30.6.2020, interest @9 p.a. is to be paid.

Further TDS returns can be filed without any late fees till 30.06.2020

16 April 2020 The due date to Deposit TDS for the month of March is 30th April. The government has not changed the due date for depositing TDS however, the interest rate has been reduced to 9%. The FM issued Ordinance 2020, the Ordinance says " The reduced rate of interest of 9% shall be charged for non-payment of TDS which are due for payment from 20.03.2020 to 29.06.2020 if they are paid by 30.06.2020. Further, no penalty/ prosecution shall be initiated for these non-payments
