My uncle is a Principal of a school...& he wanted to know about the applicability of TDS for purchase of following:
Purchase of Track suits and tee shirt
& also of purchase of grocery through tender.

All the transactions you have mentioned is the purchase transactions. so TDS is not apply for those transaction. However incase you have given the contract for supply customised Track suits and tee shirt, then tds will apply as work contract u/s.194C
