We Paid to Steel Mint info Service towards Indian Pellet & DRI Summit-2014 towards Conference. We paid as registration Fees in the name of Delegating Fee for 3 delegates + Service Tax amounting to 30168 is TDS to be Deducted.

14 May 2014 Y TDS should b deducted. According to ur explanation the transaction dosen't seems to b a contract or professional fees. If anything is link that then deduct TDS.

14 May 2014 it will be TDS deductible u/s 194J @ 10% but normally this type of association have lower rate deduction certificate.
pls make inquiry from that and deduct tax accordingly.
