What does overbooked challan mean?? I have filed return for the first quarter and second quarter for the F.Y. 2013-14 for which i have received a notice for First quarter for overbooked challan. Kindly provide a solution for the same.

it means that in deductee sheet, you have claimed excess deduction against a particular challan. For eg, the challan amount is Rs 100, you have claimed deduction in deductee sheet for more than Rs 100.
