My company gives to customer a certain percentage on sales to customers with the name of annual turnover support, if they would achieve given targate, Now my concern is that should we deduct TDS on that amount or not.

30 May 2012 The nomenclature is not important. What is to be seen is the substance of the transaction.

In this case, the transaction amounts to commission. Accordingly, TDS shall be deducted u/s 194H.
